Managers in any organization must communicate well, both orally and in writing, internally and externally, to people at all levels and from a variety of backgrounds. This can include passing on and receiving information, motivating, persuading and influencing, and handling interpersonal relationships.   • Understanding how hierarchy and power affects communication
  • Increasing your awareness of and effectiveness in non-verbal communication

Module 2: EXCELLENCE IN COMMUNICATION

  • Impact of belief and values on communication
  • How to use body language to build rapport
  • Developing rapport using NLP techniques
  • Constructive language use to encourage better communication
  • Clear, concise and direct expression of ideas, be specific not vague
  • Whole brain formula of delivering messages and appealing to emotions
  • Exercise: Delivering a message

Module 3: PROVIDING FEEDBACK

  • The art of giving and receiving feedback
  • Why feedback is important
  • Use the affirmative, not negated language
  • Focus on I messages and behavior
  • Role play: Giving feedback

Module 4: EFFECTIVE LISTENING AND QUESTIONING SKILLLS
