Today’s business climate is challenging. The Ringgit is weaker and the economy is tough. We must seek out the opportunities to strengthen the management of our lease agreements/contracts to avoid any legal issues. The ability to draft and amend lease agreements or contracts is an indispensable skill that few business people are trained in. The misconception is that, the company’s legal counsel or external counsel will handle all “legal” matters - yet, it is often in-house teams who themselves negotiate and then draft commercial terms, which eventually form the basis for legal rights and obligations on contracts and agreements.

This course will highlight common problems in leases & tenancies and how to tackle and manage them. Drafting techniques & strategies will be shared.
