This course also focuses on Accident Investigation Techniques & Mitigation. It will also provide participants with the fundamental skills needed to prevent occupational injuries & illnesses. The course content will include: accident/incident analysis techniques, risk assessment, accident investigation & reporting techniques, identifying unsafe acts & conditions, job observation techniques, developing safe operating procedures, safety and health hazard recognition, analyzing accidents/incidents, and developing special emphasis accident prevention programs. Emphasis will be placed on safety hazards such as material handling, machine guarding, housekeeping, personal protective equipment, fire prevention, process safety, handling of hazardous materials & other selected preventive mechanisms.

After attending this 2-day Accident Investigation, Prevention & Mitigation course, participants should be able to:
